The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
